Negombo Beach

Day 01

Airport / Negombo

Arrive in Sri Lanka, to be met Vacation Travels at the airport and transfer by air-conditioned Vehicle to a Hotel in Negombo Beach.

Negombo is a year-round destination boasting lovely golden sandy beaches and a charming old world fishing village atmosphere. Negombo lagoon is fed by a number of small rivers and a canal. The lagoon has extensive mangrove swamps and attracts a wide variety of water birds including cormorants, herons, egrets, gulls, terns and other shorebirds.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

Day 02

Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage / Anuradhapura

After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura. En-route visits the pinnawala elephant orphanage.

Elephant Orphanage, an institution that has been looking after orphaned or injured elephants that would otherwise have surely died. If you leave the hotel early then you can watch the elephant's bath in the river after the youngest babies are milk fed.

Anuradhapura Cultural Sites

Day 03

Anuradhapura Cultural Sites / Polonnaruwa / Sigiriya

After breakfast visit a Anuradhapura Cultural Sites. Anuradhapura is the birthplace of Sinhala civilization & one of the world's largest archaeological sites. It is considered as the greatest monastic city of the ancient world, & was founded in the 5th century Bc.

En-route visits the Polonnaruwa Cultural Sites.

Sigiriya Rock Fortress

Day 04

Sigiriya Rock Fortress / Minneriya National Park / Elephant Back Safari

After Breakfast at the hotel and leave for climbing to Sigiriya rock fortress. One of Sri Lanka's most fascinating UNESCO world heritage sites. No matter how often you climb to the summit of this one-time hilltop fortress of the maverick Sinhalese king, Kassapa, the pleasure barely diminishes because of the abandon spectacular views at the summit.

Evening you will have a elephant back safari at Minneriya National Park. The North Central province of Sri Lanka is home to a mega wildlife event known as the "Gathering". This mega event has eluded world attention as it sat on the fringes of a 30 year conflict that stole the headlines for decades. However the "Gathering" won its due recognition in 2011 when "Lonely Planet" owned by BBC worldwide listed the Elephant Gathering in Sri Lanka as the 6th greatest Animal Spectacle in the world.

Dambulla Cave temple

Day 05

Dambulla / Temple of the Tooth / Cultural Dance / Kandy

After breakfast visit a Dambulla Cave temple, Dates back to the 1st Century .BC. Its rock ceiling is one large sweep of colorful frescoes which depict Buddhist mythology and the tales of the Buddha's previous births. The caves house the largest collection of Buddha statues in one place.

Then travel to Kandy. En-route visits a spice garden. Visit the Temple of the Tooth. Last seat of the Sinhala Kings, is a very popular destination for visitors from home and abroad. View a cultural dance in evening.

Peradeniya Botanical garden

Day 06

Botanic Garden Peradeniya / Kandy City Tour

After breakfast visit the Peradeniya Botanical garden.

The Royal Botanic Gardens Peradeniya is well known for its large variety of plant life. The great lawns highlight huge tropical trees and a variety of bamboo can be found in one place. The Royal Botanic Gardens was established in 1821.

Evening you will have Kandy city tour.

Ramboda waterfall

Day 07

Ramboda waterfall / Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya.

En-route visit a Ramboda waterfall. A Ramboda waterfall is situated at Ramboda of Nuwaraeliya district of Sri Lanka. Ramboda is at between Nuwaraeliya and Gampola towns. The height is about 109m and the 729th highest in the world. There are about 27km to Ramboda from Gampola town. Ramboda waterfall is at downside of the main road and it cannot see from the main road. You should you down to the main road at Ramboda bridge of Nuwaraeliya Kandy main road and then you can visit the Ramboda waterfall.

Day 08

Horton Plains / Tea Factory

Early morning you will go for visit Horton plains.

Horton Plains is a unique natural attraction in Sri Lanka. It is located in the highest plateau of the country and its known for its beautiful landscapes and rare plant and animal life.

Evening you can visit the world famous Sri Lankan Tea Plantation and Tea factory and you will have a city tour in Nuwara Eliya.

Train Ride

Day 09

Train Ride / Ella Gap / Rawana Waterfall / Yala

Breakfast at the hotel and travel to Yala. You will have a Train ride From Nanu Oya to Ella.

Early morning you will go for Full day Safari at yala, one of the island's most popular wildlife parks where you could see all most all the animals which are found in Sri Lanka.

One of Sri Lanka's premier eco tourism destinations, lies 24km northeast of Tissamaharama and 290km from Colombo on the southeast coast of Sri Lanka, spanning a vast 97,878 hectares over the Southern and Uva Province. The Yala National Park is famous for the elusive leopard and has one of the highest densities of leopards in the world. The sloth bear and Asian elephant that are also part of Sri Lanka’s Big Five can be spotted. With some good luck you will witness all these creatures and more over an evening jeep safari accompanied by a naturalist guide.

Yala / Udawalawa National Park

After breakfast visit the Udawalawa National Park.

Is next in popularity to Udawalawa, and elephants could easily be observed even in midday. In addition 39 species of mammals and 183 species of birds have been recorded.
